Hi, I'm Ally! I've spent the better part of the last 15 years in airports escaping to destinations that fuelled my curiosity to explore incredible parts of the world.

I spent the first 8 years of my career doing sales and operations in the travel industry - specifically planning, selling, and running youth group trips across the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, North America, and South East Asia. When I wasn't planning and running other people's trips, I was escaping for some solo travel of my own.

After my first big trip at 18, where I camped across 6 countries in Southern Africa, I knew that I had to take on as many experiences around the world as I possibly could for the rest of my life. I set of goal of travelling to 30 countries before I turned 30 and was lucky to pass that by 24!

Most of you know me as a photographer. I left the professional travel world to pursue my love for being creative. I've worked on TV shows, started a podcast for women with over 50k downloads, shot photos for huge airlines and hotels around the world, and try to get away as much as I can in between.

This is my second group trip and I'm excited to bring all of my worlds together to offer you the same life-changing experience that I just had in Portugal this September with a group of 10 amazing women! My goal is to offer you a space to reconnect with yourself in a slow but stunning environment where you can take the time and space to clear, reset, create new intentions, start to integrate and PLAY.

We don't play enough as adults. We take ourselves way too seriously. Surf camp will change that. We'll spend a few hours in the water each day with professional guides and coaches laughing at ourselves while looking real cute in our ugly wetsuits.

The rest of the trip is up to you. Let's savour the slow travel, meet new friends, eat good food, cry if we have to and have a transformative trip that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

I was sitting outside staring at the Pacific Ocean at the beginning of July, still on a buzzing high thinking about the first trip launch and 10 girls joining me in Portugal. The sun was setting, the water was sparkling, and the message came in loud and clear:

El Salvador.

Central America has forever held a special place in my heart. My second ever solo trip back in 2010 had me road tripping from Mexico down to Panama following a trail of volcanoes. I was 20 at the time, and spent a few weeks soaking in incredible culture, food, and adventure while making incredible memories that I still think of to this day.

We skipped El Salvador on that trip. And it's always been on my list to make it back down. With staying on personal brand with the theme of "learning how to surf at 33 years old", El Salvador seemed like a great fit.

Three weeks later, I'm here in El Salvador writing this very own webpage getting to launch this trip for you. It's an absolute untouched paradise here in El Zonte. Think: where jungle meets ocean.

We're going to have an extremely laid back week with lots of time to unwind and reconnect with yourself on the beach mixed with pockets of adventure and, of course, trying new things. I'm already counting down the days until I'm back sharing this experience again with you.
