When I think of quick weekend escapes and local staycations, I usually end up in Tofino or Whistler. Since moving to BC, it has never been very common for me to pack up and drive down Highway to explore more of the Fraser Valley. That recently changed for me. You know how much I enjoy […]

Do everything, one thing or nothing at all. This is your trip – and anything you do sets you up for the perfect escape.

That’s what I love about Tofino. You can set out to have a weekend to shut off and unwind, pack it with adventure or have a bit of both in the mix. There is literally no wrong answer.

Your pilot will fly you over glaciers, rigid peaks, and Gatorade lakes before landing right on your doorstep. You duck out of the helicopter and run towards the cabin – and that’s when it finally sinks in:

Welcome to your new mountain home.

New. York. City.

Sky-scraping buildings, streets that are always swarming and a skyline that will inspire the heck out of you. I seriously love NYC. I’ll take any time that I can get in this city – but staying a week or two really puts you in that groove of calling this bustling city your new home.

Call your girls and get going to the city that never sleeps.

This is #TheGirlsTripSeries.

While it’s unlikely you’ll be able to experience this entire city over the span of a weekend, it is likely you’ll fall in love with it’s charm and energy that LA has to offer.

Whether this is your first trip to the City of Angels, or a friendly trip back to a place that’s starting to feel like home – there’s always something new to do here.

Grab your girls, and let’s kick this series off.

Three days in London. Three. Freaking. Days.

Was it short? Incredibly.
Do I wish that I could have stayed longer? 100%
Did I go anyways? Duh.

Ford Canada recently launched their 2018 Ford EcoSport to the world, and they took the celebration nation-wide by driving the car from coast to coast! Check out my leg of the tour from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg!

Remember watching cartoons when you were a kid and seeing four presidents’ faces carved into a mountain.  Yes, that’s Mount Rushmore – and it exists in real life.  I drove by to give a quick hello to the fellas and it’s definitely cool to check out in real life. BUT, I’ve got three things that you’ve got to add to your list of “must do’s” when you’re in the Mount Rushmore state.

Because you’re going, ok?

Ok.

While I strive to encourage people to want to explore the outdoors, I’ve witnessed beautiful places forever ruined because of what stemmed from social media. But while we’re on that topic, I want to be clear on one thing: instagram didn’t ruin these places.

…maybe you did.

South Dakota wasn’t on my radar or bucket list – but it’s definitely a spot that you should add to yours. From the rolling hills to some of the biggest caves in the US, all the way to the sky-scraping Badlands sitting under the darkest skies and the brightest stars – you won’t be disappointed. ⠀⠀

I promise.⠀⠀⠀⠀
